There will be a hotly contested debate during the next month over whether three of the most accomplished alleged cheaters in Major League Baseball?s Steroids Era deserve to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame. Supporters of all-time home run king Barry Bonds, seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens, and 600-homer slugger Sammy Sosa say most of their gaudy statistics occurred before steroids became a part of baseball?s culture although it?s unclear exactly when the era began.
